Looking Out the Rear Window
The funeral rite concluded The undertakers came forth I didn't cry or whimper Please don't go to the grave; But onward moved the casket As we rode toward the ossuary But the world kept 'bout its business As we drove into the cemetery I stood at the gravesite Looking out the car's rear window Then I knew that all was well, Thank you Lord for reassuring me But now there's work I must perform And in the process of reaching out Saundra L.
